Who We Are

Cornersoft Solutions LLC was founded by Ken Sloat in 2024 out of a passion for helping others with complex Linux based embedded systems. Ken graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a BS in Electrical Engineering at and has over 11 years of professional engineering experience helping customers in a variety of markets.

What Makes Us Different

Today’s SoC silicon is growing ever more complex. Mirroring this is the suite of complex software needed to operate it, which is usually heavily hardware dependent. While there are many software engineers, understanding the unique relationship between software and hardware requires a special skill-set like our company offers.

Our background is rooted in Electrical Engineering with a focus in embedded systems. While we focus on the implementation in software, we believe that software is simply one tool needed to manipulate and exercise hardware. Understanding this “bridge” between hardware and software is critical in the embedded space and our expertise in this realm puts us above most other engineering consultants.

Our mission is to assist our customers in solving complex embedded system problems and therefore helping to ensure their success. We are people oriented by nature with a teacher mindset. We don’t just want to solve problems for our customers, but when we finish a project, we want you to have the confidence and knowledge to truly own the software we provide you.

That upon completion of a project, you will be able to own the software we provide. We use a variety of methods to reach this goal, but providing documentation and clear communication with a customer are some of the means we achieve this. Furthermore, this allows us to confidentially stand behind the software we provide.
